My Wedding Day

A bit about our wedding day...
My wedding was a small but sunny day on the Greek island of Kos. To be honest, I would have chosen to run away and get married with no guests, but we had a small wedding with around 12 family members out in Greece instead. The sky was blue and it was lovely! We got married outside and had a lovely reception in a shady restaurant garden afterwards.

With divorced parents and a dad who sometimes bothers with us and sometimes doesn't, my wedding plans were definitely affected - you can't walk down the aisle with someone who may not turn up on the day! So my small day in the sunshine with close family was perfect for me.

I still loved planning for our reception party back home. I went for pink flowers in fishbowls for centrepieces surrounded by clear table crystals. I used pink and gold for the main colour scheme and made a few things myself with items that I picked up from Hobbycraft. I enjoyed painting and glittering Mr & Mrs mache letters, creating my cards box with a mini suitcase and creating a pinboard frame of pictures of me & my husband. This is the stuff that I love and plan to post more about later - weddings are so much fun!

If you're planning your wedding right now try to enjoy as much as you can. It can be stressful but is also really special and it will all be here and done before you know it!

My Pretty Little Wedding Blog

image

Hi there!

I'm a married first time mummy and I love anything to do with weddings!

This blog is just a little hobby to me. I've already had my (nice and small) big day, but I still love looking at pretty little wedding things and the way that they all tie together!

Your wedding is like a total blank canvas and I really believe that you can do whatever you want to it, even if your budget it small.

I love art and being creative, and to me that's what a wedding and all of it's little details actually is! ...well that and marrying your best friend of course! :)
